Shin-Matsuda Station (新松田駅 Shin-Matsuda-eki?) is a railway station on the Odakyu Electric Railway’s Odakyu Odawara Line in the town of Matsuda, Ashigarakami District, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. The station is 71.8 rail kilometers from the line’s terminal at Shinjuku Station. JR Matsuda Station on the Gotemba Line of Central Japan Railway Company is located nearby.

Station history

Shin-Matsuda Station was opened on April 1, 1927 on the Odakyu Odawara Line of the Odakyu Electric Railway with normal and limited express services. The current station building dates from March 1980, with the former station building relocated to the Mukogaoka Amusement Park for use as a railway museum.[1]
